Cardiac Rehabilitation

Whether you are an inpatient or outpatient, Providence St. Patrick Hospital’s cardiac rehab program can help you regain your fitness and learn healthy life skills after a cardiac event or procedure.

Why cardiac rehab?

Who benefits from cardiac rehab?

Patients who have had:

  • Heart attack
  • Coronary angioplasty and stenting
  • Open heart surgery
  • Minimally-invasive cardiac procedure such as TAVR or M-Clip
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Angina (chest pain)

Participants will learn the tools necessary to live healthier lives and become more knowledgeable about diet, stress and exercise. Physician referral required To participate in our outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program, and to qualify for insurance coverage, you must be referred by your doctor for an eligible cardiac condition.

Keep up the great work with Heart Smart

Once you have successfully completed the outpatient phase, we encourage you to participate in our Heart Smart program. Heart Smart is a non-monitored maintenance cardiac rehabilitation program offered at our exercise facility.
