Mock DUI Accident at Polson High School

Tim Thornton PA-C at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is working with local emergency responders to conduct a mock DUI accident on the Polson High School football field for all high school students.
After the crash demonstration, emergency responders will arrive on scene, conduct sobriety tests, remove students from the wrecked vehicle, and retrieve the body of the student who did not survive.
The intent of this demonstration is to show the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs and attempt to deter students from participating in risky or unsafe behavior.
All participating agencies will respond to the event as if it were a real incident.

- Polson EMS
- Providence St. Joseph Medical Center
- Polson Fire Department
- Montana State Highway Patrol
- Life Flight
