The American Heart Association and Laerdal Medical recently recognized Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson for their commitment to ensure competency in high-quality CPR through implementation and broad adoption of the Resuscitation Quality Improvement Program.
High-Quality CPR is a lifesaving intervention and the foundation of survival from cardiac arrest.
Pictured are CPR instructor Cindy Hagen and Lynn Weddle, Interim Chief Executive Officer.
The books will be given to young children through the hospital’s Reach Out and Read Program.
The classes are designed to help participants lose weight and gain confidence, establish healthy eating habits and identify healthy physical activities for each participant to enjoy.
A local community group, Helping Hands, recently delivered their 100th Baby Box —welcoming gifts for every mother who gives birth in Polson and Ronan hospitals.
