Before you arrive at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, our Patient Advocacy staff works to verify and pre-authorize services you’re scheduled to receive. However, we encourage you review your insurance benefits and/or contact your insurance company to learn what your policy will pay and what out-of-pocket payments (i.e., co-payments, deductible, percentage of bill, “network” or referral requirements) you’re responsible for.
If you believe your insurance company improperly denied payment for a service, please call your insurance company first. Your insurer has policy details that may not be available to us. You have the right to appeal any decisions made by your insurance company.
