  • Montana End-of-Life Registry: The Montana state-wide depository for advance directives and living wills.
  • Healthfinder.gov: Contains many tools to help improve health, an encyclopedia for health questions, the latest news and tips.
  • MedLinePlus: The best resource for consumer health information; contains a dictionary, health topics, drug information and videos
  • NIH Senior Health: Website developed with seniors in mind, has info relevant to aging including arthritis, falling, memory. Font and contrast can be changed for easier reading, speech setting will read to you.
  • A-Z Guide of Healthy Living: Provides information and tools for health monitoring and improvement. Topics include nutrition, pregnancy, cancer, heart health, public safety and others.

The Learning Center holds the Archives for St. Patrick Hospital including the Sisters' Chronicles, early medical instruments, photographs, Schools of Nursing and Radiology memorabilia and class photos, historic medical texts, and many other resources. No, we do not have access to patient information. We are a library with medical and health care focused resources.

Yes, we can set you up with an account, we just need to see your driver's license or photo ID and you fill out a short application

Most items are on a three-week checkout, audio-visuals are limited to one week and there are some items that do not circulate, specifically Reference and Archive items. Up to four items may be checked out or renewed at one time.

Most items can be renewed. Renewals may be made in person, by calling 406-329-5710 or by email.

Fine policies are designed to promote equitable use of the library collections. Fines begin to accumulate as soon as the item is overdue. Failure of the library to send or the borrower to receive an overdue notice does not relieve the borrower of the responsibility for returning library materials on time.

  • Books, Audio/Video: $0.25 per day, per item
  • Competency Modules: $1 per day, per item

All items overdue for more than 10 days will be considered lost. Replacement charges and Overdue charges of $10 will be billed. If an item is returned only the replacement charge will be waived.

  • Books: current cost (to be assessed) or average cost of publication ($50), or the library user may replace exact edition in lieu of fee
  • Audio/Video: current cost (to be assessed) or average cost of video ($25)
  • Competency Modules: $10
