Urgent care is a cost-effective alternative to the emergency department for illnesses or injuries that aren’t life threatening. Our urgent care providers can do stitches and casts and order blood work and X-rays. If the doctors determine you need a higher level of care, you’re admitted directly to St. Joe’s Emergency Department.
Please note: the urgent care clinic does not provide preventive exams.
Preparing for your visit
Patients at the walk-in clinic are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Our wait times average 20-30 minutes – longer during the summer. Please bring photo ID, your insurance card, your co-pay and a list of current medications and doses (including over-the-counter supplements)
When to call 911
You should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department if you or someone else experiences bleeding that won’t stop, shortness of breath or unconsciousness.
