Health Care for Kids

The care providers at Providence Medical Group Lifespan Family Medicine are parents, too. So, we understand doctor visits can be a little scary for kids. We foster a warm, friendly environment to help put them at ease. They can even look forward to a toy and treat after each visit.

Well-Baby and Child Exams

It’s important to understand your child’s growth and development – physical changes such as height and weight, developmental milestones like speech, as well as emotional and behavioral changes. Your child’s well-child check is the perfect time to discuss your concerns and ask questions of your primary care physician.

At Lifespan Family Medicine, a routine well-child exam will include information for parents and caregivers about normal development, general care, immunizations, diet and nutrition and other essential advice about how to care for a growing child.

Preventive Child Health Care Schedule

Children should have routine well-child checkups from birth through childhood and adolescence. Visits for childhood illnesses such as ear infections are different. Those visits should be in addition to routine, scheduled well-child visits.

The doctors at Lifespan Family Medicine are here for you whether your child is sick or you have a concern about your child’s health and development.
