Cardiologists and cardiac surgeons perform procedures wearing surgical masks

Procedures we offer

The IHI Structural Heart Program is a part of the Duran Center for Heart Valve Disease, a specialized clinic focused on a subset of cardiac patients with valvular heart disease.

Among the interventional procedures performed at The Duran Center for Heart Valve Disease are:

  • Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) for aortic stenosis
  • Transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) for bioprosthetic mitral stenosis
  • Transcatheter mitral valve repair using the MitraClip
  • Left atrial appendage occlusion (Watchman) to reduce embolic stroke risk in patients with atrial fibrillation
  • Closure of atrial and ventricular septal defects using the Amplatzer device
  • Alcohol septal ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
  • Traditional ‘open heart surgery’ for heart valve repair or replacement, MAZE procedures for atrial fibrillation, resection of sub-aortic stenosis, repair of atrial and ventricular septal defects, repair of aortic and ventricular aneurysms

We're part of the International Heart Institute of Montana, a member of Providence Medical Group
