Missoula, MT—Providence Montana Health Foundation will host its 7th annual Team Up Montana event in conjunction with the University of Montana Griz Football game, Montana Griz vs. Weber State, on Saturday, October 10, 2015.

The event opens to the public at 11 a.m. featuring a tailgate, parade and on-field ceremony promoting the awareness of cancer prevention and detection, and recognizing cancer patients of Western Montana. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cancer Compassion Funds.

Executive Director Fran Albrecht spoke to the cause: “I’m deeply honored to be a part of this year’s Team Up Montana event and witness firsthand the compassion and support from our community. As a Foundation, this is our chance to celebrate those who have benefited from Team Up funds, and recognize the tremendous heartfelt generosity that makes it all possible. When you think football, you think of tradition. Team Up Montana is a tradition within our community that changes lives. We are so proud of this campaign.”
