Music for Healing
Live harp music is available to all patients and their families while cared for at St. Patrick Hospital. Those who have experienced this service typically describe it as soothing. People who are experiencing physical or emotional pain, restlessness or anxiety often benefit.
Our harpist has been professionally trained in the graduate program of Music Thanatology, an experience of harp and voice to serve the physical and spiritual needs of those who are dying. For many patients, this expression of beauty, reverence and intimacy offers comfort.
Ask your nurse or one of the chaplains to request this service.
