Our beliefs and goals as a provider unit reflect our organizations goals and values:
Respect: We welcome the uniqueness of all learners and will develop education that supports their strengths and abilities.
Compassion: We nurture the intellectual, spiritual and physical needs of our learners. Our education opportunities reflect the needs of our nurses within the organization and community.
Justice: We welcome all learners and believe education is necessary component of any profession. We support nurses’ philosophy to “never stop learning”. We believe education strengthens the nursing profession and benefit those to whom we provide care.
Excellence: We maintain the highest standards of education, providing evidence based learning that enables our nurses to provide the best care. As leaders in education, we continually evaluate our programs, make adjustments based on evidence to provide excellence in care.
Stewardship: We believe we need to use “materials” wisely, be aware of our impact on our organization, our community and earth. It is our goal to be conscientious of our waste and reduce our use of paper products through creative techniques that will not hinder the quality of our education.
