Philosophy of Care
I have always been interested in emergency medicine. I worked in pre-hospital medicine for years prior to going to MEDEX, including as an EMT/Paramedic in Polson. I enjoy the variety and challenge of the emergency department. One of the most rewarding aspects of medicine for me is the need for continuously learning new techniques and procedures; and the need to be challenged to stay abreast of the dynamic field of medicine.
MEDEX Physician Assistant Program, University of Washington, Seattle
I continue to have an interest in the pre-hospital phase of emergency medicine. I enjoy teaching EMS providers and providing ongoing continued education to that phase of emergency medicine. I am a medical director of a volunteer EMS service in Plains, Montana.
I have recently completed a phase of training to achieve a lifelong goal of obtaining my private pilot license. My family and I enjoy kayaking and camping.
