Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

very satisfied with the care provided by the nurse and Doctor.

Dr.McKinsey is the first doctor in 45 years I have trusted completely.

Dr. McCarthy, listens closing to what you are saying, she had read my records and was prepared to ask and answer questions, very impressed. She gave me options to think about and gave her professional advice, very impressed. She treated you with respect and listened very closely to what you had to say. Very important. All in all she was great.

She is a good doctor. Very concerned!

Dr. McKinsey is responsive, informed and willing to look up what she may not have all the information on, and caring. She is a fantastic PCP.

I have recommended my to a number of potential patients.

I like Nicole very much and feel like she takes good care of me. She's a fine doctor & is most helpful with my problems.

she seemed to be in a hurry and was very abrupt. Perhaps she was having a bad day. I was a little frustrated when I left.

there seems to be confusion between doc and staff on where specialists would be scheduled (Kalispell or Miss.) on several occasions. Also, needed a second vaccine that was discussed during the visit but wasn't given and I had to call to be sure it wasn't necessary but found out I did need the shot and had to make a second visit.

It is always good & I tried to be prepared but I always feel like they don't have enough time. This isn't just my current doctor but my doctors the last 4 or 5 years were held to a certain amount of time by their organizations.

Dr. McKinsey is professional and extremely knowledgeable. I have complete faith in her abilities.

Very good experience with the doctor and staff.

Nicole McKenzie pretty much started yelling at me from the beginning about using using cannabis [...] So she had me crying through out the whole appointment, she then sat and nicely spoke to my husband who was sitting on the other side of me so she just leaned around far enough to speak to him. when she spoke to him she'd lowered her voice like nothing was amiss. This was one of the most humiliating appointments that I've had to take. If she had done her homework with me she would have found out that my medical records has proved time and time again that they knew I had a medical marijuana card of which had expired, I do plan on renewing the card as soon as possible. I have no issues with anyone else in your office building [...]

I am very pleased with my physician.

This is the best doctor I have had in 30+ years

I have only seen her twice. I was impressed with my first visit as it was clear that she had read my health history by the questions she asked and the comments she made.

this was my first visit with Dr. McKinsey. She is very attentive and makes you very comfortable with her. I am fortunate that she was able to accept me as a patient when my provider retired recently.

Service by provider was as good as I've ever received.

All good.

I was looking for a Family Doctor since mine retired. This was my first visit to see a new doctor to replace my retiring Doctor. She had no interest in me as a person and was only concerned about the medications I was taking and having me come in every three months for an appointment.

This was the 1st visit I had with Dr. McKenzie. She was exceptional, as was her assistant. I feel as if I can discuss any medical issue with her.

She is wonderful very professional.

Nicole is an excellent addition to Providence St. Joe's Hospital

Dr. Mckinsey is the best doctor I have ever had. I am so very pleased with her. She really cares about my health and well being and is easy to talk to. I even recommended her to my father, who was in need of a new provider. I commend the staff whom hired her. She is a beacon of light in this valley.

this Doctor provided me with a level of treatment I honestly didn't not believe still existed today. I would highly recommended her to anyone I know.

My only negative issue is that I took a lung function test last Monday. It is now Saturday. I called Thursday asking for someone to get back to me with results or a plan. I have not heard from anyone. At the very least I should have received a call letting me know that they were working on a referral to a specialist. I have never had a delay in receiving feedback before. I know that my test did not go well. Someone should be keeping me informed.

This was my first visit trying to establish a physician at St. Joseph for all my health needs including [...]. I asked for a blood draw; she didn't initiate anything. Dr. McKenzie failed to refer me to a Rheumatologist for further care of [...]. I also asked for heart monitor because I have an irregular heart beat and enlarged heart. I filled out forms to enable Dr. McKenzie to obtain records from Dr. [...]. I felt like Dr. McKenzie was not interested in being my primary doctor because of her lack of concern or offering information and advice.

Very Knowledgeable and Thorough

The only thing I felt was a rush because she was late and I was trying to get out to get to my family to help them. I forgot some of the questions I had for her about my EKG I had had when they were offered in March.

My provider may be great for someone else but not a good fit for me we just do not have a good rapport.

Provider was alert to my overall medical condition.

This was my first visit with Dr. Mckinsey and I cannot imagine how it could have been any better. She had read my chart, listened very carefully and went over all areas of ny health, not just the virus that prompted the visit. I feel very fortunate to have her as my physician and I have already told 2 friends about her. She is a great addition to the hospital staff.

Dr McKinsey is my favorite so far! She listens, she's knowledgable, she's open to new ideas, and she seems to care.

My care provider is really doing a great job. I changed clinics because my other one was not doing thing to help me.

She is awesome - Knowledgeable, thorough, caring & friendly.

I (we) are very pleased that Dr. Mckinsey has joined St Joseph's, see is very caring and capable, and I feel confident about her expertise.

I was pleased with her care. It was my initial visit to St. Joseph's and everyone who attended me was very professional and kind.
