I have a genuine desire to work with under-served populations both in the United States and abroad. I have been fortunate to volunteer at a homeless shelter in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as an orphanage and hospital in Tanzania and free clinics in Thailand and Kenya.
I completed my residency training in Family Medicine in northern Michigan. My broad spectrum training has provided experience in outpatient and inpatient medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and international medicine.
My fiance, Neil, (and our two cats) moved to Polson, Montana for the mountains (and all of the outdoor activities they provide) and for my desire to practice medicine in rural America. We enjoy backpacking, hiking and camping.
I am a novice artist, toiling in oil painting, wheel throwing pottery and charcoal drawing. I also enjoy trail running, yoga, travel and nutrition.
