Patient Ratings and Comments

A provider’s star rating is based on a Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. In this survey, taken after an office visit, patients answer a series of standardized questions and have the opportunity to provide custom comments. Providence strips identifying information from comments so they can be shared without jeopardizing confidentiality or patient privacy.

Since I am a cancer patient & must frequently have blood tests, Gloria has been very good about ordering her tests in conjunction w/blood tests they take.

I was very amazed and happy with the wonderful care I received at this facility. Dr. Kornish and all the staff there are very caring, understanding and compassionate about my health care needs. I am so very grateful for everyone there! They were very quick to call and schedule me for additional appointments when an irregularity was found in my mammogram. They were also very helpful in assisting me with financial resources, since I have no job or insurance.

I wish care provider would have briefly, at least, ready my file to remember my history & know why I was there that day.

Seems to be a good Dr and office but didn't recommend much in the way of testing.

Gloria spent a long time listening to me before we discussed what should happen - I really appreciated that.

Ms. Kornish spent most of our office visit reviewing medications in my record, even though I spent an equal amount of time doing the same thing with her nurse. The records were incomplete and faulty. She did not previously record nor recollect medications she had prescribed for me. After telling me she would contact me about my lab work the next day, she did not contact me for 2 weeks. The the same thing happened a year ago. I had to remind her to follow-up on my lab results after waiting 2 weeks. She prescribed nutritional supplements without explaining the reasons why.
