Physician (nurse and staff) were efficient and courteous but seemed rushed/tired/distracted. I was surprised and mostly disappointed not to be asked directly or have an opportunity during my "checkup" to discuss my current health status and health concerns. Time was spent going through the physician's "wellness checklist" where I was advised of standard health recommendations and tests, given a quick physical and Pap and sent out with orders and referral for the standard tests. When the appointment was clearly over from the physician's POV and I had not been asked or engaged in any conversation about my current health concerns (even after mentioning a few recurring symptoms without followup questions or response) I decided not to pursue it. The appointment did not meet my expectations or experience of 35 years of previous "checkups". I prefer a physician interested in an interactive health relationship and am currently looking for a better match.

She's always up-to-date on our health issues and makes us feel cared about, even though the place is run like a factory with a conveyor belt for patients. We would hate to see her driven off like our previous physician for spending too much time getting to know the patients.

Provider advised me we only had 15 min of our initial visit left as soon as she entered and wondered when i had arrived. I had arrived 15 min before appointment as requested. I wrote down all meds on form while waiting, but them it took a very long time for nurse to enter my meds on computer in this initial visit, and there was little time left for doctor. Computer seemed very slow. Provider did end up seeing me longer than 15 min, but I felt she was feeling rushed. I wondered why appointment time was used for nurse to enter meds on computer when I had taken all the time to enter them while waiting, especially when this took time from seeing provider. Provider said she had not received my charts, which she later wrote me had been sent. Not sure what happened to them!

Getting in to see the provider at the appointed time ... when she is running late, we have felt 'rushed' in the past, not so much with this last visit. But, still we arrive 15 minutes early and it still takes beyond the appointment time to get in.

My provider showed a lot of competence, but also humility--which I think makes her an attentive and skilled provider. She listened to my concerns, and took me seriously. She also gave me plenty of opportunity to ask questions and determine if I was comfortable with the course of action.

I had questions for the dr. She responded that she did not have time to address all of the questions plus do my annual physical. Therefore, I had to schedule a return visit which I am going to cancel. I am not going to pay for another office visit when she can handle the rest by phone. I was told there was not enough time to complete my "wellness" exam. Come back in a month to complete it. No I will not be coming back to complete it. One office call expense is enough.
