Presented by the International Heart Institute
The International Heart Institute of Montana cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, imaging specialists, nurses and researchers will provide demonstrations, education and information in a series of lectures on the latest advances in treating heart disease. You can learn about new medical therapies, procedures, treatments and research being conducted at the Heart Institute. This is an excellent way to meet the providers at the Heart Institute.
From 7-11 a.m., participants can also receive a blood screen (lipids and glucose) for $5. Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) tests are available for $10 and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) tests are available for $10. Payment is by cash or check only. As always, for the most accurate results, do not eat or drink anything 12 hours before the test. Refreshments follow the test.
In addition, there will be displays and information booths on the many ways to stay Heart Healthy.
This event brings in more than 1,000 people each year who want to learn more about their heart health and talk to the most exceptional health care physicians and other health care providers in Western Montana.
