Educational Internet Video Links

This page contains links to videos created by leaders in various fields of study relevant to the management of persistent pain.

We encourage you to not only watch these videos but to also explore beyond these videos by searching the Internet (either in general or inside YouTube) for additional videos featuring the speakers and authors which the links in this document will take you to. So, for example, we encourage you to do a search on Jon Kabat-Zinn to learn more about Mindfulness, on Lorimer Moseley to learn more about the Neurophysiology of Pain, or on Ronald Siegel to learn more about Positive Psychology and the science of Happiness. Of course, these are just a few examples.

There is an incredible amount of good information on these and other topics relevant to the problem of persistent pain available on the internet and we encourage you to explore and learn as much as you can or would like to about these topics. Of course there is a great deal of bad and incorrect information available on the internet as well and so we encourage you to use your best judgment in determining what you watch or read if you stray from the speakers and authors specifically referenced in this document.

Some people we can recommend that you may wish to learn from via the Internet include:
Lorimer Moseley - Pain
Jon Kabat-Zinn – Mindfulness Meditation; Mindfulness in Everyday Life
Ronald Siegel, Psy.D. – Happiness; Positive Psychology; Mindfulness
Dr. Russ Harris – Acceptance; Mindfulness; Happiness
