Missoula Midwife Services
If you’re seeking an alternative to traditional pregnancy care and childbirth, a midwife may be the right choice to help you during pregnancy, labor and birth and postpartum period.
The midwives' model of care is based on the belief that pregnancy and birth are normal life processes. Services include:
- Monitoring your physical, psychological and social well-being throughout your pregnancy
- Providing you with individualized education, counseling and prenatal care, continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery and postpartum support
- Minimizing technological interventions
When it’s time to give birth, your midwife will help you throughout your labor and delivery in the Family Maternity Center at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. You’ll have the safety of giving birth in a hospital while receiving care from a nationally certified and licensed midwife.
